Vintage 1983 Artist Made All Porcelain Kewpie Doll 11" Side-Glancing Blue Glass Eyes Molded Curl on Top of Head for Ribbon Bow. Dressed: wearing pink handmade crocheted one piece 2-layer skirt dress and seersucker bloomers; ivory colored side-button strap shoes (which are not fully fastened in the pictures). Sash around waist is a piece of French ombre wired ribbon that was added for festivity--you can take it off and put it back on, either way. She is elastic strung, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She is beautifully molded and painted--no markings to indicate who made her but was clearly made by an experienced doll maker. She has a pink ribbon sash which I will send with her that reads "Miss Lilly 1983" (very faint writing). No chips, cracks, or other damage. Adorable doll, from my mother's personal collection. Smoke-free/pet-free home.
