I'm not sure what material the doll is composed of - it's not plastic, but some other material covered by a kind of thick veneer.
This veneer is quite cracked in places, with one small piece of the covering missing from the head (see photos), but the doll is otherwise in good condition.
The dress the doll is wearing is homemade - perhaps by my grandmother?
