INSTRUCTION FOR SUBSTRATE
1.Determine your aquarium size.
1 inch deep substrate = 1lb per gallon, depending on tank dimension.
2 inches deep substrate = 1.5-2lb per gallon, depending on tank dimension.
3 inches+ deep substrate = 3lbs+ per gallon, depending on tank dimension.
2. Place substrate in a bucket and rinse a few times and let it settle for a couple hours. Note: you will see some black sand debris floating on the top, they will sink once they are settled.
3. Place washed substrate into your aquarium.
INSTRUCTION FOR ROOT TAB
1. Determine your aquarium size. General rule 4-5 tabs per 10 gallons and space them out evenly.
2. Insert root tab into the aquarium substrate, until you can’t go any deeper. Recommended substrate deep 2 inches+ for best result.
3. Each root tab should last
two to
three months
depending on how heavy a root feeder you have on top of them.
