Hard to find, perfect condition celluloid Kewpie doll. "Rose O'Neill Copyright" sticker on back. Wings.Marked with "10". No dents. Dressed as Red Cross nurse. A bit of stickum on the bottom of feet keep her standing. Includes small Frenchy dog (probably not original/related to Kewpie but they look cute together)
Rose O’Neill bisque Kewpie doll with jointed shoulders, side glancing eyes, blue wings and a top knot. Kewpie is 6.5 inches including the top knot and is marked on the bottom of his feet. He’s wrapped in a pale green ribbon but I don’t think it’s antique ribbon.
Condition: There is wear to the tips of the left fingers and I think the thumb has a tiny chip. There are little firing lines on the back of the neck which is typical.
